Obituary

Poland - There will be a Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian, Rd., Youngstown, with Chorbishop Michael Kail officiating for Lonia E. Moradian, 48, of Poland, who was carried off by angels early Monday morning May 3, 2013 with her loving family by her side after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Lonia will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for devotion to her family and her faith along with her great personality and big smile. She was born January 25, 1965 in Lebanon, the daughter of Emile and Victoria (Nakhoul) Boulos and came to the United States in 1986. Lonia was a proud and devoted homemaker and her family will miss all her excellent cooking especially all the wonderful Lebanese dishes. She was a member of St. Maron church and enjoyed doing volunteer work at Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine in North Jackson. Lonia enjoyed spending time with her entire family and working in her flower garden. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her husband Bedros Moradian whom she married August 9, 1987, her children Sabine, Carmen, Mathew, Mark and Steven all at home, her mother Victoria Boulos of Lebanon, four brothers Youssef (Soumaya) Boulos and Saba (Vera) Boulos both of Lebanon, Elias (Kathleen) Boulos of Canfield and Samir (Yolla) Boulos of Boardman, three sisters Yvette (Alfred) Boulos and Samira (Youssef) Saad both of Lebanon and Euginie (Gabriel) Zakaria of Australia along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Emile Boulos. Friends may call on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman, where the Prayers of Incense Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., friends may also call on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. at St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian Rd., Youngstown. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Austintown. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in Lonia's name to her children that will assist them for their education.
