Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Jerry Hunt officiating for Louis Cornrich, 82, of Youngstown, formerly of New Castle, who passed away Saturday evening, May 7, 2011. Louis will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for being so big hearted nice and kind. He was born October 5, 1928 in Franklin, Pennsylvania the son of Martin and Anna (Rabinovitz) Cornrich and lived in New Castle most of his life. Louis worked for Bankers Life Insurance Company as an agent for over 35 years and retired in 2000. He enjoyed collecting china, watching CNN news and flea marketing, but he especially loved spending time with his love Joann. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and earned the rank of Corporal. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his companion and caregiver of over 40 years Joann Stahura, along with many friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Manuel and Sidney Cornrich. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army servicemen.
