Obituary

Boardman - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Father Edward Noga officiating, for Lugre Perri, 100, of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Thursday evening. Lugre greatest joy was her family and will always be remembered and loved by all of them. She was born February 26, 1913 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Luige and Victoria (Romano) Oliverio and moved to the Youngstown area in the 1930's. Lugre was a proud homemaker and worked as a glass factory worker and later as a clerk for Sears Company. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Lugre enjoyed reading, sewing and gardening which she took great pride in all her flowers and vegetables. She leaves behind to hold on to her memories a daughter-in-law Beverly Perri of Virginia, three grandchildren Kristina, Kimberly and Mark Perri, four great grandchildren Hailey, Zack, Kasey, and Kenna, and two sisters Kathryn Patti of Ohio and Nola Tarantino of West Virginia. Lugre was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Chris Perri who passed away on August 13, 1984, a son Kenneth Perri who passed away on February 10, 2000 and a brother Lewis Oliver. Friends may call on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:55 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
