Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Boardman, with Father Gerald DeLucia officiating, preceded by a 10:50 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Margaret (Margo) M. Maxim, 69, of Youngstown, who passed away suddenly from an apparent heart attack on Friday, February 13, 2015. Margaret will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her kindness and generosity. Margaret had a huge heart and was so full of life. She was born October 17, 1945 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Bolchalk) Maxim and was a lifelong area resident. Margaret was a 1963 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School where she was head cheerleader. Margaret was employed as a legal secretary for over 50 years. She was a fixture of downtown Youngstown during her long career with the law firm of McLaughlin and McNally. She considered the firm her second family. Most recently, the firm merged with Roth, Blair, Roberts, Strasfeld & Lodge and Margaret was considered a valued employee to all. She was a former member of St. Stanislaus Church. Margaret enjoyed traveling, shopping and was a season ticket holder of the Cleveland Browns in the 1970's. One of her most memorable trips was Super Bowl XV in New Orleans. She also enjoyed a good martini, gourmet dining, and she was an excellent cook known for her linguini and clam sauce. Margaret leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories two sisters Caroline (Nelson) Gustafson of Poland and Judy (Tom) Terihay of Naples Florida, a brother-in-law Rudolph Donofrio of Boardman, her nieces and nephews Nancy Testa of Poland, Marianne Donofrio of North Lima and Jeffrey Donofrio of Poland, Amy (Tom) Davitt of Poland, Julie (Scott) Geltemeyer of Naples, Florida, and Todd (Brenda) Terihay of Tampa, Florida along with her great nieces and nephews Alyssa and Andrew Testa, Hannah and Makenna Davitt, Tyler Geltemeyer and Shelby Terihay. Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a sister Wilhelmine M. "Willie" Donofrio and a great niece Sarah Geltemeyer. Friends may call on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman.
