Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, with Father Christopher Cicero officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Margaret Lorraine Ventresco, 82, of Boardman, who passed away on Saturday afternoon September 8, 2012 with her loving family by her side. Margaret will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born March 18, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of E. Max and Kermit (Burnett) Cavin and grew up in Kansas then moving to the Youngstown area in 1955. Margaret was a graduate of Burrton High School in Kansas where she was actively involved in music, drama and cheerleadering. She attended Southwestern College in Missouri where she met her future husband Dr. James Venrtresco Jr. . She was homemaker and enjoyed traveling to share time with her daughters and their families. Margaret was a sun worshiper, bird and nature lover, with a passion for decorating especially at the holidays. She loved to dress stylishly coordinating all her accessories. Before her vision failed she loved reading and playing the piano. In recent years she loved watching Matlock, ironing, and browsing the Neiman Marcus catalog on her reader. Her husband Dr. James Ventresco Jr. whom she married February 3, 1951 died April 18, 2004. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her daughters Kathy (George) Chuparkoff of Highland Heights, Ohio, Krista (Rick Rounds) Ventresco of Youngstown, Karen Ventresco of Plano, Texas, Kim (Jim) Mitch of Eugene, Oregon, and Karyl Ventresco with whom she made her home, seven grandchildren Sam Chuparkoff, Margaret Ullmo, James Rounds, Matthew and Nicholas Dupre` and Brennan and Nathan Mitch and a sister Jackie (Ben) Uyesato of Ballwin, Missouri. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Dallas Dupre`V. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Entombment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
