Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Mary Caruso, 89, of Youngstown, who passed away Friday evening August 12, 2011. Mary Ann will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born October 18, 1921 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Carlo and Mary Ann Esposito and moved to the Youngstown area as a young woman. Mary Ann was a homemaker and a graduate of East High School. She was a devoted and very religious member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown. Mary Ann enjoyed walking at the mall every morning and socializing with all her friends. She leaves behind to hold on to her memory a sister Jeanette Cannon of Indiana, a niece Jeanette (Anthony) Geraci of Austintown, and a nephew Peter (Lenora) Esposito of Canfield whom took care of her, along with several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Peter Caruso who passed away on July 23, 1992, seven brothers Samuel, Victor, Alfonse, Michael, Frank, Atley, and Joseph Esposito and two sisters Elizabeth Hatcher and Jeanette Esposito. Friends may call on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
