Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave. in Youngstown, with Father Christopher Cicero officiating for Mary Frances "Meme" Langley, 90, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully on Friday morning July 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Meme will always be remembered and loved as a devoted homemaker who loved her family and spending time with them especially her great grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. She was born March 9, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of David and Myrtle Irene (Jones) Reese and was a lifelong area resident. Mary was a member of St. Christine Church and AARP. She attended South High School and enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing crosswords, watching her Soap Operas, cooking, traveling with her family and also with her husband to his military reunions all across the United States. Mary and her family celebrated her 90th. birthday with a huge party and that left such a special place in her heart and everlasting memories for her family and friends. Her husband Frank "Bud" Langley whom she married February 8, 1941 died April 27, 1994. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her children Judy Langley with whom she made her home, Sharyn Lemmon of Austintown, Ronnie (Rosemary) Langley and Larry (Lori) Langley both of Boardman, her grandchildren Tom Connolly, Cris (Kathleen) Connolly, Marcy (Tim) Hughes and family, all of Boardman, Heather Langley and family, a former granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Connolly, her great grandchildren Tyler, McKenna, Madison, Reese and Aidan Connolly and a sister Margaret "Peg" Baytos of Austintown. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Jack Lemmon and three sisters Rita Ross, Bette Roberts and Helen Hershey. Friends may call on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman and Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Mary's family would like to say Thank You to Dr. David Rich and staff, Dr. Antoine Chahine of the Blood and Cancer Center and Dr. Andrea Shaer and staff of the Kidney Group, Giovanna DeSantis for all her visits and phone calls along with Hospice of the Valley for all their care and compassion shown to Mary and her family during her time of illness.
