CANFIELD - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Saint Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave. in Youngstown, with Father Christopher Cicero officiating for Mary Giannini Noday, 87, who passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at her residence. Mary will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Gianin and great-granddaughters, Chloe and Gia. Mary was born June 28, 1924, in Youngstown, the daughter of Salvatore and Angela (Munno) Giannini and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1942 graduate of East High School. She worked for the McKelvey's Company in downtown Youngstown and the Cornersburg Pharmacy on the west side, as a Bonnie Bell Cosmetic Representative with over 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Saint Christine Church, and was a member of the Friends of the Library Club, as an avid reader. Her beloved husband, Louis Noday, whom she married in June of 1946, passed away in 1982. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories, her son, Greg (Elizabeth) Noday of Canfield; a granddaughter, Gianin (Daniel) Martin of Canfield; and two great-granddaughters, Chloe and Gia Martin. She also leaves her extended family, the Noday's of Youngstown, the Dellagnese, Giannini and Massey families of Akron, and the Minicucci and Penzo families of California, along with numerous nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Giannini; and three sisters, Mechelen Minicucci, Lucia Penzo and Annette Dellagnese. Friends may call on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, and on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Saint Christine Church from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
