Obituary

Birmingham, AL. - There was a memorial service held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover, to celebrate the life of Nancy 'Na Na" (Beil) Ogren, 68, of Birmingham, AL., who passed away at her home on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Nancy will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born June 9, 1942 in Youngstown, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Herbst) Beil. Nancy was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. She was well known and had a familiar face in her community. Nancy was a long time employee of twenty two years at Western Supermarket in Bluff Park and is a recent retiree from Publix Super Market on hwy 150 in Hoover. She was a wonderful culinary artist, famous for her homemade pastas, desserts, pastries and jams. Nancy leaves behind the love of her life her husband Reynold "Rennie" Ogren whom she married in 1964, a son Jeff "Ogie" Ogren of Frisco CO., a daughter Rebecca Ogren Payne, a grandson Brandon Payne both of Bluff Park AL., a sister Marjorie "Bo" Beil of Youngstown, a former son-in-law Leo Payne of Helena AL., and two special friends Concetta Thomas and Rona Broglio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
