Boardman - There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Charles Church, Boardman, with Father Philip Rogers officiating for Nancy Ann Nardy, 73, of Boardman, who peacefully passed away on early Tuesday morning with her loving family by her side. Nancy will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born January 10, 1938 in Youngstown the daughter of James C. and Edith A. (Aey) Burns and was a lifelong area resident. Nancy was a homemaker and employed at Gantos Woman's Clothing Store as a sales woman from 1985 until 1997. She was a member of St. Charles Church and was Past President of the Women's Auxiliary for the Wolves Club Den VI. Nancy was a 1956 graduate of Boardman High School, and enjoyed painting, swimming, and playing cards especially the game of Gin. She loved spending time with her family and friends during the holidays, especially with her grandchildren. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her beloved husband of over 54 years Vincent Nardy whom she married on April 27, 1957, two sons Vincent (Roseann) Nardy of Solon, and Vic (Robin) Nardy of Columbus, two daughters Margaret "Molly" Nardy of Boardman and Mandy (Joe) Arnone of Montana, eight grandchildren John Ludt IV, Kinsey Ludt, Chelsy (Josh) Holecko, Dr. Vincent Nardy, Margaret Nardy, Matthew Nardy, Payton Hallos, and Ethan Hallos, and a sister Peggy Smith of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call on Saturday, December 10, 2011, from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm all at St. Charles Church, Boardman. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
