CANFIELD - Nerina J. Donatelli, 88, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening at her residence. Nerina was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Verona, Italy, a daughter of the late Genarro and Nonciata Bossi Santangelo. She came to America as a child and graduated from South High School. She and her husband were owner/operators of several restaurants in the Youngstown area. Her husband, Daniel Donatelli Sr., whom she married on Nov. 22, 1949, died on July 17, 2010, after celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. She will be missed by her two sons, Daniel (Deborah) Donatelli Jr. and Jim (Darlene) Donatelli; a daughter, Joann Hershman; a sister, Mary Jane Lilly; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, Nerina was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Augustino Santangelo; and a sister, Bianca Ventresco.
