Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Father Kevin Peters officiating, for Patricia J. Turnbull, 69, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, February 28, 2012 with her loving family by her side. Patricia will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born March 8, 1942 in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Betty (Burns) Bayman and was a lifelong area resident. Patricia was employed with the Youngstown Board of Education as a librarian for over 40 years where she served for over 35 years at Kirkmere Elementary School and retired in 2009. She was a graduate of South High School and volunteered at the Rescue Mission along with being a member of the AFSCME Union Local 1143. Patricia enjoyed gardening and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband Thomas M. Turnbull whom she married June 1960 died October 23, 1995. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her three children Pamela (Gary) Helming of Canandaigua, New York, Colleen (Jeff) Shaughnessy of Canfield and Thomas (Maureen) Turnbull of Youngstown, seven grandchildren Anthony Catale, Catherine Helming, John Shaughnessy, Evan Helming, Maggie Shaughnessy, Andrew Turnbull and Jeffrey Shaughnessy, two sisters Beverly Beitzel and Lillian Matthews, and her beloved dog Ollie and cats Bella and Thelma. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant son Thomas M. Turnbull and two brothers William and Robert Bayman. Friends may call on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, Ohio 44512 in Patricia's name.
