Austintown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Pauline Napolitano, 95, of Austintown, who passed away on Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2012 with her loving family by her side. Pauline dearly loved her family and most of all enjoyed spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all. She was born November 1, 1916 in Youngstown, the daughter of Antonio and Elizabeth (Malone) Cipriano. She was a lifelong area resident and lived in Austintown since 1961. Pauline was a devoted homemaker and retired from the Mahoning County Nursing Home as a cook. She attended The Rayen High School and was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown where she was one of the original bread and pizza makers. Pauline belonged to many church senior citizen organizations but especially enjoyed all her friends at St. Christine's where she was the Bingo caller for several years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and playing Bingo. Her husband Frank Napolitano whom she married October 12, 1939 died July 1986. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories five children RoseAnn (Sante) Valentini of Boardman, Elizabeth (Roy) Davis of Orlando, Florida, Lenora (Joseph) Mordocco of Canfield, Marie (Anthony) Belfast of Carlsbad, California, and Frank (Monica) Napolitano of Boardman, fourteen grandchildren James (Karen) Valentini, Paula Valentini, Sante (Kathy) Valentini Jr., Frank Valentini, Cynthia (Brett) Arquette, Christina (Michael) Beck, Anthony (Laurie) Mordocco, Joseph Mordocco, Aaron Belfast, Jesse Belfast, Julie Belfast, Frank Napolitano Jr., Natalie (Todd) Spencer, and Joseph Napolitano, twelve great grandchildren Kristi, Kasey, Cassandra and Samantha Valentini, Holly, Brandon, and Nicholas Arquette, Ryan and Elizabeth Beck, Matthew and Daniel Houseman, and Anthony Mordocco and a brother Frank (Irene) Mezzapeso of Youngstown. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, a granddaughter Charlene Houseman, and three sisters Lena Fiucci, Jenny Farinelli, and Antonette Soccorsy. Friends may call on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
