Poland – Phyllis T. Notareschi, 88, of Poland, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2016, with her loving family by her side. Phyllis will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her giving, energetic, and outgoing personality along with the way she would make a friend wherever she went. Phyllis was born May 23, 1927 in Youngstown, the daughter of Bruno and Rose (Zupp) Murphy and was a lifelong area resident. Phyllis was an excellent and proud homemaker and was the true matriarch of the family as a wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She always put her family above everything else and her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a fantastic cook and baker making all the true Italian dishes. Her family and friends will definitely remember her homemade wedding soup, pizzas, pasta dishes and desserts. She had many passions and enjoyments. Phyllis enjoyed music and dancing at family celebrations, often coaxing unwilling dancers onto the dance floor. Phyllis had strong faith in God and was a member of St. Nicholas Church since 1949. She leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories her beloved husband Reynold "Renny" Notareschi whom she married August 29, 1946 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church, her beloved children Patrick (Barbara) Notareschi, Rosemary (Roy) Hungerford and Ellen (Gary) Hungerford all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rey (Christine) Notareschi of Poland, Carolyn (Tim) Ruck of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Phyllis (Nick) Jeswald of Poland.
