Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Church, with Father William Loveless officiating, preceded by a 10:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Raymond A. Cellio, 76 of Youngstown, who passed away Saturday evening, August 11, 2012. Raymond will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born January 9, 1936 in Youngstown, the son of Wery and Fannie (Mariani) Cellio and was a lifelong area resident. Raymond was employed as a carpenter for over 50 years working for numerous companies and through the Union Local 171 and retired in 1998. He was a 1954 graduate of Chaney High School. Raymond was a member of St. Brendan Church, the Carpenters Union Local 171, and the Beaver Falls Boat Club along with being a past member of the Lake Milton Boat Club. He enjoyed roller skating, antique cars along with attending car shows, but he truly loved the water and was an avid boater and water skier. When he was younger he was a life guard and Water Safety Instructor. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories his beloved wife of over 54 years the former Josephine Sylvester whom he married February 1, 1958, a daughter Kim (Joe) Pavel of Canfield, a sister Elaine (Patrick) Lorelli of Canfield, a brother-in-law John (Sue) Sylvester, five nephews Jim Lorelli, Anthony (Micki) Lorelli, Joe Lorelli, Tom (Nancy) Lorelli, and Shawn Sylvester, a niece Christina (Dwayne) Brucke along with many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
