North Carolina - Rex Richard Hoffman, 61, of North Carolina, formerly of Youngstown, passed away on September 14, 2013. Rex will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born January 24, 1952, the son of Robert E. and Mary Ann (LaLumia) Hoffman. Rex was employed as a manager in the plastics industries for several companies. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and all outdoor sporting events. He leaves behind his mother Mary Ann Hoffman of Canfield, his children Randall Hoffman of New Orleans, Rex Hoffman Jr. of California and Elizabeth Hoffman of Virginia, two brothers Mark Hoffman of North Carolina and Michael Hoffman of Florida and a sister Roberta Hoffmanof Ashville, North Carolina with whom he made his home. He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Hoffman. We pray for the repose of his soul and we all look forward to meeting Rex in eternity. There will be a Memorial Mass held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 343 Via Mount Carmel, on September 29, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a light breakfast and fellowship in the St. Joseph Hall family and friends are welcome to attend.
