Canfield - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. as celebrant, preceded by a 9:10 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Rose Marie Fiore, affectionately known to all as "Aunt Ro" 88, of Canfield, who peacefully passed away early Sunday morning, January 25, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Aunt Ro will always be remembered and loved by all her family and friends for her smile, her quick wit with all the one liners and her soft loving personality. She was born October 4, 1926 on the Eastside of Youngstown, the daughter of Quintiliano and Jennie (Marinelli) Fiore and was a lifelong area resident. Rose Marie was a 1945 graduate of East high School and was employed for over 47 years as a manger for USA/UNSCO Division retiring on August 30, 1991. Aunt Ro was a lifelong active member Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, where she participated in helping with coffee and donuts for many years, counting the collection with her nephew Mike on Sunday's, and was a member of the Mothers of Crucifix Society, St. Monica Guild, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Senior Citizens and the Festival Committee. Rose Marie had many talents and passions in her life. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, traveling especially to Hawaii, and going to the Casino's, but she truly adored just spending time with her family. Aunt Ro leaves to cherish her memory a sister Norma Baca and her nephew Michael Baca, who was like a son to her, with whom she made her home in Canfield. Besides her parents Rose Marie was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Alberto "Al" Francesco Baca, a niece whom she adored Roseann Baca and a brother Anthony Fiore. Friends may call on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman, where a combined prayer service will be held at 4:45 p.m. by the Mothers of Crucifix Society and St. Monica Guild from the church. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
