BOARDMAN- There will be a prayer service held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. at Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10: 00 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Rose Marie Evans, 92, who passed away Sunday evening at Hospice House with her loving family by her side. Rose Marie will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. Rose Marie Evans was born April 2, 1919 in Cleveland, the only child of Ferdinand J. and Elizabeth Coyne Baliff and has been an area resident since childhood. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and belonged to Sacred Heart Church for years. She was employed for 24 years at the Youngstown Board of Education retiring in 1981. Rose Marie belonged to Saint Dominic Church for many years and belonged to their Altar Rosary society and Legion of Mary. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son Robert L. (Maureen) Evans Jr. of Sacramento, CA ;a daughter Elizabeth Jean (William ) Davis with whom she made her home for the past 15 years in Boardman. She will also be missed by her daughter-in-law, Sonja L. Evans of Long Beach, CA; her eight grandchildren, Brandon (Heather) Evans, Barrett (Katie) Evans and Brita Evans of California, Russell W. (Beth) Gillam III and Robert Christopher (Jennifer Beeson) Gillam of Boardman, Elizabeth (Steven) Gardner of Pittsburgh, Michelle (Robert) Kerr of Nebraska, Erich (Jill) Davis of Iowa; eleven great grand-children, Chloe Rose and Cooper Evans, Robert Christopher Gillam Jr., Seth Logero, Emily Vandersnick, Ethan, Thomas and Abigail Kerr, Michael Davis, Sara (Jerry) Gorby, Amanda and Molly Hewitson; two great great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Zackary Gorby. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Evans Sr. whom she married on February 10, 1940 and who died on March 20, 2001 and her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Chris Vandersnick. The Family of Rose Marie wants to express their sincere gratitude to the Ball family for all of their love and care and for making Rose Marie one of their own. Also many thanks to the staff at the Hospice House. Friends may call on Thursday December 8, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman, OH.
