Poland - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, for Roseann Vertucci, 58, of Poland, who passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, January 28, 2015 with her loving sisters by her side. Roseann will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and outgoing personality. She was born June 30, 1956 in Youngstown, the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" and Juanita "Pat" (Herman) Vertucci and was a lifelong area resident. Roseann was a 1974 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and also attended Choffin Career & Technical Center studying dental assistance. She then found a passion for becoming a hair stylist and continued her education at Boardman Beauty Academy/Cosmetology, The Chadwick Masterclass "Advanced Study of Hair Design", Zotos Creative Design Group and Goldwell Color Class. She received the following certificates from the State of Ohio Substitute Teacher Certificate, the Trumbull County Joint Vocational School, the Columbiana County Joint Vocational School, and the Gordon James Career Center. Roseann had an extensive career and has touched many lives. She started by working as a manager of First Lady at the Southern Park Mall, and then became owner of the following salons; Mademoiselle Beauty Salon, Visible Change and most recently Salon Vertucci on Market St. Roseann had many passions in life and she enjoyed playing bocce, listening to music, going to festivals and traveling to the beach, especially Geneva on the Lake. She adored her family and loved spending time with her sisters. They will miss her excellent cooking of Italian dishes especially her spaghetti and meatballs. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories a brother Gerald "Jerry" (Sandy) Vertucci of Houston, Texas, two sisters Palma Vertucci of Poland and Mary (Edward) Rios of Poland, two nieces Somer (Alberto) Garza and Megan (Chance) Dailey, three grandnieces Ruby, Anelise and Giana, a grandnephew Luca, two aunts June Sharish and Mae Zufall, her beloved dog Mia along with a host of friends. Roseann was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog Max. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 9:00 am until 9:55 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt.
