Roe's life & faith revolved around giving to others, especially her family & friends. We were all blessed to be a part of it. She was born January 22, 1938, the daughter of Michael & Theresa (Fuoco) Altomare. Her parents emigrated from Calabria, Italy, and passed through Ellis Island, and choose to settle in Leetonia. Roe graduated from Leetonia High School in 1956, & received her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in 1959. She worked as an RN at St. Elizabeth's & The American Red Cross, before retiring in 1999. Roe was a member of St. Charles Church in Boardman along with her husband, & they volunteered at Assumption Nursing Home, & provided guidance to countless couples as Marriage Encounter volunteers for 18 years. Roe married her devoted husband Gene V. DiVincenzo on May 26, 1962, and their 52-year bond was defined by unconditional love. They raised four forever grateful children, Jeannine (Joseph) Cunningham of Boardman, Eugene (Joseph N.) DiVincenzo of Cleveland, Victor (Dina) DiVincenzo of Boardman, and Maria (Patrick) Gentile of Canfield, her ten grandchildren Lia Jo, Gino, Joey, Marco, Mikey, Vinny, Louie, Gia, Emma Roe, and Rocco. They adored Mama Roe, her fried dough and her bountiful hugs and kisses. Roe also leaves three siblings Carmela (Joseph) Cassese of Poland, Dr. Louis (Linda) Altomare and Michael (Marcy) Altomare both of Columbus.
