Teresa Eckenrode

AUSTINTOWN - Teresa Eckenrode, 63, born March 3, 1963, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 19, 2026.Born on March 3, 1963, in Youngstown, the daughter of Louis and Agnes Dillon Fossesca.

Teresa was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching Sci-fi movies. She lived a quiet simple life in which she found happiness in alongside her beloved cats.

Above all, Teresa will be remembered by the family she loved. She is survived by her daughters, Angel (Michael) Sanders of Austintown, Melissa (Phil) Igo of Campbell, Ashley Mikolaj of Austintown, and Cassandra Smith of Austintown. She also leaves behind her parents, Louis and Agnes Fossesca; her sisters, Brenda (Cosmo) Iamurri of Austintown, Lois Gardner of Boardman, and Helen (Charles) Bueno of Boardman; and her brothers, Mark (Mary) Fossesca of Philadelphia, Louis (Gail) Fossesca, and Andrew (Angela) Fossesca of Austintown. Teresa’s memory will also be treasured by her grandchildren, Kayli, Michael, Makayla, Annabella, Cali, Hendrix, and Jojo.She was preceded in death by her grandson, Philip.
