Cleveland - There will be a funeral service held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Youngstown Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, 155 Lansdowne Blvd., Youngstown with Pastor William Rodriguez officiating, for Vincent Flores Jr., 46, of Cleveland, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away on Friday morning, January 25, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Vincent will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his big smile, unforgettable laugh and the way he was "the life of the party". He was born August 16, 1966 in Youngstown the son of Vicente Flores Sr. and Mary Luz Cardona. Vincent was a 1984 graduate of East High School and graduated in 1989 with his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Southern College. He was a flight attendant for over 20 years first serving with Continental which now became United Airlines. Vincent was a talented singer and sang with the North Coast Men's Choir along with singing in quartets, at weddings, doing shows and solos throughout the Cleveland area. He loved to travel in the United States and abroad, was a talented decorator and enjoyed his huge movie collection. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his mother Mary Rivera of Youngstown, his partner Brad Anderson, his father Vicente Flores Sr. of Puerto Rico, a brother David (Linda) Flores of Youngstown, three sisters Madeline Flores of Youngstown, Elizabeth (Joseph Harris) Flores of Cleveland and Rebecca (Edwin) Rodriguez of Youngstown, six nieces and nephews Angel Rivera, Sheila (David ) King, Christina Rivera, Arielle X. Flores, Bruce Cuevas and Aleen Flores, four great nieces and nephews David King Jr., Victoria King, Cianna Johnson-Rivera, Jonathan Flores and maternal grandfather Ildefonso Cardona. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Emerito (Providencia) Flores and maternal grandmother Carmen M. Martinez-Scacchetti. Friends may call today Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10: 50 a.m. all at Youngstown Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, 155 Lansdowne Blvd., Youngstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Coitsville.
