Boardman - There was a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, February 17, 2012, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiated, for Vincent A. Santangelo, 81, of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning February 15, 2012. Vincent will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his kindness and faithfulness. He was born April 21, 1930 in Youngstown the son of Anthony and Maria (Zarlenga) Santangelo and was a lifelong area resident. Vincent was a graduate of The Rayen High School and then became a carpenter by trade where he worked with his father at their business Santangelo & Son Construction Company. He was an active and faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown and enjoyed gardening. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories a brother Dr. Mario Santangelo of Boardman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved sister Antonette Laura (Sandy) Santangelo who passed away November 14, 2009.
