Poland - Wilma J. "Willie" Yaeger, 62, of Poland, passed away unexpectedly Monday May 12, 2014. Willie will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and great personality. She was born May 12, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Wilma (Joachim) Kittave and was a lifelong area resident. Willie was a 1970 graduate of Chaney High School and retired in 2010 after being employed for over 35 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. She enjoyed being an usher at Powers Auditorium, the Youngstown Play House, the Oakland Theater and TNT in Niles. She also enjoyed play cards especially the game of 500 with her family and friends, traveling on bus trips and going to festivals, fairs and firework displays. Willie had a zest for life and a passion for all animals, but she especially loved dogs. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her beloved husband Larry, whom she married April 20, 1974, a sister Joann Kittave of Youngstown, Sawdust and numerous friends, relatives and associates. Willie was preceded in death by her parents and two friends and companions Sunny and Grunt. Willie request was to have a caring cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
