Campbell – Christopher Michael Carpenter, 50, of Campbell, passed away early Saturday morning, October 22, 2022 following a period of declining health issues.
Chris will always be remembered for sense of humor and his love and loyalty to his family and friends.
He was born August 15, 1972 in Youngstown, the son of John and Darlene (Baglama) Velazquez and was a lifelong area resident.
Christopher attended Campbell Memorial High School and was employed as a mover helping many companies throughout the area.
Chris had many passions throughout this life. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed listening to music along with watching movies.
He leaves behind his the love of his life of over 25 years and his wife of over 15 years the former Sherry Meenachan whom he married on August 6, 2007, his children Brittany Carpenter, Corey Meenachan and Kyle Meenachan, his grandson Kai James Meenachan, a brother Eric (Beth) Velazquez, two sisters Dana (Chuck) Ross-Riley and Priscilla Velazquez and his beloved pet dogs, Rocco and Jax along with many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Besides his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his daughter Alyssa Louise Carpenter and his brother Rodney Baglama.
There were private services held.
Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
Christopher’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation gratitude to all the caregivers over the years who have taken him throughout this difficult time.
