Emil T. Saloom

Canfield - Emil T. Saloom of Canfield, Ohio passed away at age 92 on November 18, 2025.

He was born to Thomas and Asma Saloom (Nakhoul) on April 12, 1933, in Farrell, Pennsylvania.

Emil served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict as an interpreter, and later he owned the Saloom advertising agency in Youngstown, Ohio.

His hobbies were golfing, playing cards, and handicapping horses.

He was the last of his generation; in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, the former Doris Mraovich, his brothers Joseph Saloom, Edward Saloom, and Louis Saloom. He is survived by five nephews.

Calling hours will be on November 25th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home at 4221 Market St., Boardman, Ohio.
