Gloria J. (Guerrieri) Fedor

Canfield - Gloria Jean (Guerrieri) Fedor, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025 at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana, Ohio.

Gloria was born on June 19, 1940 in Youngstown Ohio, a daughter of Christie and Theresa (Naples) Guerrieri.

She graduated from East High School in 1958 and wed John Fedor on July 22, 1961 at St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell, Ohio. Together John and Gloria shared 64 years of marriage, creating a family life filled with love and happiness. 

Throughout her life, Gloria held various jobs to include owner/operator of Isaly’s in Boardman and library assistant at Brownlee Woods Library.  She retired in 2006 from Youngstown State University’s Maag Library with over 20 years of service.  Her most important accomplishment was taking care of her family. 

Gloria is survived by her husband John, daughters Christine (Troy) Rhoades, and Michele (Frank) Bova, grandchildren Maria and Geno Bova, and sister Judy (Bob) Pavalko. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Christie (Lux) and Theresa Guerrieri.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 9:45 – 10:45 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Parish, 7345 Westview Dr., Boardman, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to your favorite charity in Gloria’s memory.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff and administration at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center and to Sanctuary Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided. A special thank you to all those who have offered a prayer or kind word or deed for Gloria during her illness.
