Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthias Church, 915 Cornell St., Youngstown for Jacquelyn "Jackie" Griffith, 49, of Youngstown, who passed away suddenly Monday evening, February 7, 2011 at her residence from a blood clot.


Jackie will always be remembered and loved for her big smile and the way she was able to touch so many lives.


She was born on April 21, 1961 in Youngstown, the daughter of Asa "Larry" and Mary Ann (Tych) Bibbee and was a lifelong area resident.


Jackie was a homemaker and employed for over 11 years with Youngstown State University as secretary of the Peace Officers Training Academy.


She was a 1979 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a member of St. Matthias Church along with being active in the Rainbow Girls where she was a former officer.
Jackie enjoyed traveling, working out, shoe shopping and playing bocce in the mixed doubles league at the MVR.


She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her husband of over 28 years James Griffith whom she married on April 24, 1982, her parents Asa "Larry" (Mary Ann) Bibbee of Poland, a daughter Kristie Griffith of Youngstown, a brother Michael (Kathy) Bibbee of Oregon, a sister Mary (Brian) Ross of Liberty, maternal grandmother Mary Tych of Youngstown, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.


She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Harry Tych, and paternal grandparents Lawrence and Juanita Bibbee.


Friends may call on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman where the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will conduct a prayer service at 3:45 p.m. and friends may also call on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. at St. Mathias Church, 915 Cornell St. Youngstown.


In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made directly to the family.
