Youngstown - James “Jim” A. Lewis, 76, of Youngstown, passed early Wednesday morning, February 8, 2023.
Jim was born June 9, 1946 in Youngstown, the son of Howard F. Sr. and Emily (Osiniak) Lewis and was a lifelong area resident.
Jim was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and received further education at Choffin Career Institute.
Jim’s specialty was industrial and commercial vehicle painting and refinishing, where he was employed with several local companies. Prior to his career in auto body, Jim worked for a short time for several industrial concerns.
Jim is survived by three brothers, Howard Lewis Jr. of Canfield, John (Mary) Lewis of North Brunswick, New Jersey and Mark (Susan) Lewis of Afton, Minnesota along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Loretta Ann Lewis.
There was a private service held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman with Deacon Paul Lisko as celebrant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
