Laura Ann (Santon) Perry

Youngstown - Laura Santon Perry, 94, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, in Youngstown surrounded by her loving family.

Laura was born on October 1, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Montesana) Santon.

Laura had an unwavering belief in the power of family. She was an extraordinary woman who left an indelible mark on her children and grandchildren. Her loving personality, kindness and generosity made her home a cherished place for gatherings of family and friends.

Laura was a woman of faith and a lifelong member of St. Edward Parish in Youngstown.

She was an avid bridge player who achieved Life Master status. Laura made many bridge friends over the years and always looked forward to their get-togethers.

She was married to Dominic Perry for 65 years. Together they raised five children: Carla (Paul) Evanoff, Patricia (Gary) Fonzi, Dominic (Peggy) Perry, Theresa (Jim) Parks, and Anthony (Gail) Perry. Laura leaves behind nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Joseph Santon and Daniel Santon.

Besides her parents and husband, Laura was preceded in death by her siblings, Dominic Santon, John Santon, Ernest Santon, and Delphina (Santon) Williams. 

To honor the wishes of Laura and her family, services will be private.

Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St, Boardman.

The family would like to thank Laura’s caregivers who provided her with love and compassionate care for many years.
