Pamela Jean (Jackson) Zagotti, 73 of Salem, Ohio passed away suddenly Sunday, September 15, 2024.
She was born October 14th, 1950 to Ruthanna Mordew and Lawrence “Pop” Jackson Sr. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, George and Helen Mordew McGowan.
A life-long resident of Salem, she was a 1968 graduate of Salem High School. She married her husband of 50 years the late Lawrence Zagotti Sr originally of Youngstown.
Frequently Pam could be found working craft shows, she was an avid crocheter and made many people beautiful blankets, scarves and more. She was previously a member of the Salem Methodist Church. Her friendly smile greeted countless customers at the Deli Department of the Salem Giant Eagle Grocery Store for 25 years.
She is survived by her children: Lawrence Zagotti Jr of Salem, Megan (Jason) Galchick, and a son Adam Zagotti of Youngstown as well as brothers Lawrence “Butch” Jackson, Evan (Robin) Jackson, Dennis (Tammy) Jackson, James (Deborah) Jackson, Ronald Cable, Rodney Cable, one sister Jayme McNicol, one grandchild Kailyn Galchick as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence Zagotti, siblings David Jackson, Sandra Jackson Messimer, Timothy Jackson, and Michael Cable.
A Service of Death and Resurrection will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at The Historic Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 West Front Street in downtown Youngstown. The family will receive guests at 11:00am with the funeral to follow at Noon.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to Rossi Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St, Boardman.
