Columbiana – Patricia Ann “Patti” Nerone, 67, of Columbiana, made her transition to her heavenly home on Thursday evening, May 9, 2024.
Patti will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and outgoing personality.
She was born on February 5, 1957 in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Margala) Kusnic and was a lifelong area resident.
Patti was a graduate of Struthers High School and was employed at D & D Industrial Services as a press operator and helped with the day-to-day operations. She also was a proud homemaker where she always made her family her top priority.
Patti had many passions throughout her life. She loved to cook and spend time with her family along with doing crafts.
Her husband David Nerone, whom she married May 3, 1980 and together they spent over 40 years of marriage until his passing on November 30, 2020.
Patti leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories her daughter Amy (Tyler) Virden, her beloved grandson Deegan Virden, a brother-in-law Gerald (Rebecca) Nerone,a sister-in-law Coleen Kusnic, a niece Vicki (Dan) Gronwold, a nephew Brian Kusnic, a great nephew Gregory Gronwold and her dog Coco along with many cousins and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Patti was preceded in death by two brothers Paul and Rick Kusnic.
Pattis’s family wishes to express appreciation to all that are currently offering condolences but per her wishes have elected to have private services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
Patti’s family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at the Hospice House for all the care and compassion shown to Patti and them throughout this difficult time.
