Youngstown- Sheree L. (Williams) Savon, 68, of Youngstown, passed away on Saturday evening, January 4, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
Sheree will always be remembered as being a friendly and happy woman with a smile that could light a room, and she always put others ahead of herself.
She was born October 28, 1956 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Merrill and Barbara (Clever) Williams and moved to the Boardman area as a child.
Sheree graduated from Boardman High School and then continued her education earning a degree from Gulf Coast Bible College. Sheree then attended and graduated from Cosmetology School and earned her LPN License from Choffin Career and Technical Center.
Besides being a proud homemaker, Sheree was employed for over 20 years with Bloomberg Optical until her retirement in 2012. She always made sure her family was her most important priority and she loved to spend time with them along with cooking them all their favorite meals.
Sheree was a member of Simon Road Church of God and enjoyed watching her favorite TV Show NCIS. Sheree also had a big heart and loved all animals.
Sheree leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories her two children Joshua (Amanda) Upright and Jennifer Upright both of Youngstown, a granddaughter Mikayla (boyfriend Tyler Connell) Upright, her mother Barbara Mickey, two brothers Ken (Brenda) Williams and John (Shelia) Williams, a niece Erica Summy, a nephew Kory (Maggie Mae) Williams, a great nephew Sean Summy and her beloved cat Mya.
Sheree was preceded in death by her father Merrill Williams and her beloved husband Robert E. Savon.
Per Sheree’s request a caring cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
