Ft. Myers, Florida – Tammy Cordova, 65, of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Tammy will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and willingness to do anything for anyone in need.
She was born August 30, 1959, in Youngstown, the daughter of Robert and Joann Yeckel.
Tammy was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and worked for Amoco Oil, and the Struthers Sparkle Market in the bakery department.
Tammy had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines, but she truly loved going to the beach and fishing.
Tammy leaves behind to hold onto her memories her husband of over 39 years, James Cordova Jr., whom she married on July 23, 1985, a stepson Jim Cordova III of Cape Coral, Florida, her three sisters, Renee (Bob) Dick of Ft. Myers, Florida, Terry (Joe) Pence of Brookville, Ohio, and Bobbie Jo Yeckel of Springfield, Ohio. She also leaves her sister-in-law Loretta Nagel of Struthers, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Joann Yeckel; her mother and father-in-law James and Ann Cordova, a brother-in-law Jack Nagel and her niece Gabriella Burke.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
Local Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
